Autumn Edit - From Behind The Lens
As someone who spends her day capturing the detail, light and texture of our ranges, the Autumn Edit felt particularly special to bring to life. The collection is warm, comforting and gives the sense of being beautifully lived-in which makes you want to escape to a rustic home and cosy up in front of a roaring fire.
It’s All In The Details
The most beautiful moments happen in the details, whether it’s the flicker of a candlelight in a rustic lantern, or the warm glow from a natural stoneware table lamp. These are the moments that evoke the sense of warmth and comfort, capturing the essence of the farmhouse aesthetic.
Layering Textures
The experimentation with layering and mixing a variety of materials for the Autumn Edit trend is essential, from rustic wooden details and natural stoneware table lamps, to woven kubu storage baskets and textured ceramics. One of my favourite pieces is the Osilo Taupe Teddy Accent Chair which features a cushioned teddy seat with warm wooden accents. This chair is the perfect piece to bring cohesion among soft furnishings like cushions, rugs or blankets and modern, structural pieces like a wooden coffee table or sideboard.
Farmhouse Must-have
If I were to choose one piece to add to my home, it would have to be the Reya Dark Brown Ribbed Sideboard. The beautifully textured ribbed detail with slim gold handles oozes luxury, and the rich mocha colour will fit seamlessly into any interior, whether you’re inspired by a New York industrial apartment or a modern farmhouse.
